Herbal garden of the institute is spread out in a huge area where about 250 species of medicinal plants are grown in the supervision of trained higher teaching faculties along with gardener and multipurpose workers with irrigation facilities.
This garden helps students to identify the plant. Ayurveda uses herbs as basic medicines. Students need to know various medicinal plants and their uses.Our team has undertaken impactful initiatives that includes everyday 30 plants are distributed to surrounding village communities and weekly various plantation and plant distribution programs are organized to spread awareness regarding plants importance.
Neem, Karanja, Amla, Amra,Arjuna Jamun trees as well as Giloy, Ashwagandha, Tulsi, Gunja, Imli, Nirgundi, Mashaparni, Pippali,Dhattura and many more herbs are also grown in Garden.
